What is UPI?
UPI, which we know as Unified Payment Interface, is a fast way to transfer money through a mobile application. It is stunt and real time payment system through which any person can send money from one account to another account at any time using UPI from his mobile.

Meaning of UPI
In a simple term, UPI stands for Unified Transfer Interface that allow users to access different bank accounts on single app and also provide money transfer facility between different account holder.
UPI Registration steps
- The steps of registering for UPI service are as follows:
- First you have to download UPI application from play store/ Bank website.
- Now,user have to create profile by entering information/details asked.
- Then click on Add/Link/Manage option in the app and link your bank accounts with virtual id.

mPIN Registration
- For setup mPIN, you have to open the app, then it will be asked to setup mPIN for UPI payments.
- Click on it.
- One time password (OTP) will be sent to your registered mobile numbers.
- Now, you have to enter the last six digits of your debit card and expiry date of the card.
- Now, you can create your unique mPIN.
- Then click submit.
- Now, your mPIN will generate.

Send money using UPI
- First login to you Bank’s enabled UPI application.
- Click on UPI section.
- Click on Pay/Send/Make payment.
- Now, enter the payee’s VPA (Virtual Payment Address)
- Fill the amount to be transferred correctly.
- Now, select your account from which amount proceed, in case of more than one account link.
- Then, enter your mPIN to authenticate transaction.
- Click on submit.
- Now your amount will be transferred.
Receive Money using UPI
- Firstly, login to the application.
- Now, choose the option collect/request money.
- Enter the payer VPA and the amount of money to be credited.
- Click on submit.
- Now, the payer will receive the notification.
- After successful transaction from payer end, receiver and payer both will receive notification.

अब, उपयोगकर्ता को पूछी गई जानकारी/विवरण दर्ज करके प्रोफ़ाइल बनानी होगी।
फिर ऐप में Add/Link/Manage विकल्प पर क्लिक करें और अपने बैंक खातों को वर्चुअल आईडी से लिंक करें।एमपिन पंजीकरण
सेटअप एमपिन के लिए आपको एप को ओपन करना होगा, फिर इसे यूपीआई पेमेंट्स के लिए एमपिन सेटअप करने के लिए कहा जाएगा।
इस पर क्लिक करें।
आपके पंजीकृत मोबाइल नंबरों पर वन टाइम पासवर्ड (ओटीपी) भेजा जाएगा।
अब, आपको अपने डेबिट कार्ड के अंतिम छह अंक और कार्ड की समाप्ति तिथि दर्ज करनी होगी।
अब, आप अपना विशिष्ट एमपिन बना सकते हैं।
फिर सबमिट पर क्लिक करें।
अब आपका एमपिन जेनरेट हो जाएगा।यूपीआई का उपयोग करने के लाभ
